~ Notes ~
If you like Shmups in general, you will be addicted to this game once you play it. If you haven't played any Shmups, this is a perfect entry into the genre. The game has tight gameplay, a good difficulty curve, and one of the best 16-bit chiptune soundtracks. The music in this game was a big motivator to speedrun this game for me. You can find .PDF files of the manual online to learn the controls.

It doesn't take too keen an eye to notice the random stutter in the video. These Soldier Blade videos were the first videos I uploaded to YouTube, and the stutter is due to using the Xbox Game Bar to record. I am now using Nvidia Geforce Experience / Shadowplay, and I've had no stutters in any of my games since the switch.
