This was a new ride for me and, as you will see, I ran into a couple of obstacles. I was told by individuals that I spoke with during this ride that this area is normally closed off (I'll check this out in weeks to come and see if that information is accurate). This was an easy and pleasant ride, but maybe only 10 miles to the gate (making it an "out and back" ride), so it isn't a long ride and you can't pass through on to other destinations. Short story is that there was lots of wildlife and certainly a worthwhile ride, but would be best suited as a ride to add to another nearby ride. (FYI - In addition to the ducks, other birds, and several gators, I also had two minks come out of the marsh right by me not 100 feet away as I was at the gate unpacking my drone... haven't seen that before.)
