A good CISO treats people the way he wants to treated, but a great CISO treats people the way they want to be treated. This is a very important distinction. An example I always use is if you walk into a room with someone who speaks French, speak to them in French! A good CISO has a deep toolbox to be a good listener, a good influence, and a good leader.
