In 2010 I sold on eBay my 74 plumb bob collection ( u$ 3500 )

They were in brass, copper, differents periods, sizes, some very rare......

Last month I went to visit my relatives in Spain and I do not know why, the family of a retired architect heard about my collection sold it on ebay, and they show me a photo taken from that listing.

I've got really surprised, how tiny is the world.

The parents of the architect told me that he collected plub bobs since 1936, he travel around the world for business and when he go to visit flea markets and antique stores, he always buy one plumb bob.

After some days of discus the price of the collection, we reach to deal, and now ARE MINE !!!

Well sorry for to much speech, but I believed the story was quite interesting to tell yours.

As you can see, it's a great collection of plumb bobs.

Differents periods, sizes, I've never seen so big plumb bobs, and they told me that kind of plumb bobs, were used to build buldings.

Some are quite big that, according to them, people put small tools inside.

There is one with level, some are Victorian era.

In general they were made of brass, some in copper, one big on wood, others in iron.....
