Thanks once again to Lucy for inspiring me to give this a go and not chuck it in the bin. Nothing ventured nothing gained hey?
I do recommend this equipment but if not you will need ahatf surface for chopping and and instrument like a butter knife for spreading and cutting out the circle in the middle. Here’s a link to what I used

2 medicine cups and a 3rd one for adding water
Some water
A smooth flat bottomed jar just under 6cm diameter that will fit snugly inside the palette for pressing
The bottom of the medicine cup should be about 3cm diameter
Tissue paper or kitchen towel
Some anti bacterial makeup spray
A lot of patience!
