You get the story of Corporal Thomas Hunter who sprinted 200 yards across open ground under fire from nine German machine guns, clearing positions alone with his Bren before deliberately drawing fire onto himself so his men could advance.

The video ends with the gun's postwar service, including the Korean War where both sides used versions of the same design, and Indian soldiers still carrying it into combat as late as 2009.
