The truth is, "ignoring" a guy can work great if you're doing it from a place of giving him space while you lead your own happy life.

But if you're using it as a tactic to try and get the guy to like you or chase you, it will absolutely backfire.

Why?

The reason it doesn't work is simple: you're using the tactic out of desperation.

You're TRYING to make him like you by ignoring him. And that's every bit as desperate and needy as anything else you could be trying to win him over.

Ironically, you're ignoring him as just another tactic to chase him (and his interest) with!

The reason I said ignoring him can work if it's in the interest of giving both of you space is also simple: You give him space so he can recharge his batteries and you can recharge yours.

In this case, you're not chasing him or trying to "get" his interest with the tactic of ignoring him.

Instead, you are living your own happy life, which GROWS your attractiveness. Why? You're refreshing your energy from outside the relationship and then bringing that energy INTO the relationship.

That builds attraction.

Chasing him drains it, because you keep going into the relationship trying to take from it. Take, take, take... until the energy is sucked dry (and that happens FAST if you're not aware of how to give him space and bring fresh happiness into the relationship)!
