Описание: A mountaineering classic, Tryfan by its North Ridge. A towering fin of rock leading directly from the A5 to the summit at 917 metres elevation. The objective of the day was to try and get a sunset from the top but the weather was looking misty. We decided to go for it anyway and see how we faired. The humid conditions had left the rock greasy and treacherous. This was highlighted by the fact we witnessed a helicopter rescue just metres from us. The only wind all day came from those blades. With careful route choices we made are way slowly to the summit, although desire got the better of us on a couple of sections. With no sunset in sight we dropped down the South Ridge, turning west before the south summit and enjoyed a beer above Llyn Bochlwyd. We arrived back at the car as darkness fell. Enjoy the video!!!!!
