Описание: When Julia Middleton became a grandmother she felt pretty blasé about it. But it turns out being a working grandmother was a crash course in not only becoming a better leader, but also in becoming a better follower. For Julia, being a working grandmother has brought new mentors into her life - her grandchildren - and been a chance to keep learning about leadership. Julia is a best-selling author of If That’s Leading, I’m In, Leading beyond Authority and Cultural Intelligence and the host of the Women Emerging podcast. She is deeply committed to helping people from all backgrounds to lead. In 2024 she founded Women Emerging and now leads expeditions with women across the world. Prior to this Julia was Founder and Chief Executive of Common Purpose, which she grew to become one of the biggest leadership development organisations, globally. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
