Istan farm in a nutshell.

Recommended Food: Chocolate Omnomberry Cream (you will constantly have might to proc the 40% magic find)
Recommended Utility: Sharpening Skill (cheap & gives 30% magic find)
At the end of farming session, you will want to spend your build up Volatile Magic on material boxes to resell for a nice profit. To figure out which box(s) are best to get for max profit, check out the website: http://gw2lunchbox.com/IstanShipments...
If you choose to open bags, they are affected by magic find buffs, so try to get the most magic find you can while opening them (especially the rare bags). Heroes banner, magic find booster, guild buff for magic find, mf food/utility, goto silverwastes and do a few quick events for 5 stacks of the magic find buff for that.
