Over 52,000 Indians Return from Gulf as MEA Monitors West Asia Crisis

Описание: India’s Ministry of External Affairs has shared an update on the evolving situation in West Asia and the Gulf region, confirming that more than 52,000 Indians safely travelled back to India between March 1 and March 7.

In an official statement, the MEA said the Government of India is closely monitoring the situation, particularly regarding the welfare of Indian nationals who were stranded during transit or on short-term visits amid regional tensions.

The ministry also announced that a dedicated special control room has been set up to monitor developments and respond to queries from affected citizens.

According to the MEA, the partial reopening of regional airspace in recent days has allowed Indian and international airlines to resume commercial and special flights, enabling stranded passengers to return home.

The ministry reiterated that the safety and welfare of Indian nationals abroad remains the government’s top priority as the situation in the region continues to evolve.
