When rolling into San Miguel de Allende, we encountered some mechanical issue with our van which made us stranded in town for a while. Not the worst place to be to get stuck so we made the best out of it and explored the city. After a week we continued on to the Monarch Butterfly Preserve in the high mountains of Michoacan where we got to experience the migration first hand.
