How To Apply Name and Numbers Onto Football Kits With A Home Iron 👕🔥

What’s up Footy Fam?! Back with another home iron kit printing tutorial video. Had a request for a nameset ironing tutorial.

This time we are applying a nameset on the back of the Gremio 2023 home kit. Umbro USA hooked me up with this beautiful kit, and it’s time to upgrade it with a “Suárez 9” nameset to honor his career at Gremio. After the tutorial, we’ll dive into Suárez’s football career history and iconic football kits he’s worn during his career.

Supplies:
In addition to your Football Kit, here’s what you need:
Home Iron & Ironing board
Nameset Vinyl or Flocking
Baking Sheet / Parchment Paper
Ruler / Measuring Tape


Steps:
Set up your ironing station
Prepare the shirt by laying it out flat on the ironing board.
Line up the nameset on the back of the kit.
Iron on 'Cotton' setting (400º F or 204º C) for 3x 20 second increments.
Fan out the shirt to cool it off.
Check adherence by trying to peel the vinyl around the edge of the name.
Repeat this process for the Number
Lay a piece of parchment paper over the vinyl number.
Heat lightly in increments of 3x 20 seconds until the numbers are ironed on fully.

Be careful while operating the iron! And keep your focus!
