Joe was 28 living in London when he was diagnosed with encephalitis.
He was bitten by a tick while on a short trip to Scotland. After feeling generally unwell and feverish he went to hospital to be told he had contracted meningitis. This then led to encephalitis.
Joe talks about diagnosis and recovery.
