Jeep Renegade Launch at Winton Castle on New Off-Road Driving Course

Описание: The UK press launch for the all-new Jeep Renegade was held at Winton Castle. The versatility of the new Renegade was tested by journalists from across the UK on Winton Castle's custom designed, off-road, 4x4 course.

The General Manager at Winton Castle, says: “We’ve constructed a technical, off-road course in woodland close to the house to try out the 4x4s on demanding terrain. Visitors have been testing their driving skills on steep, slippery slopes, across water features and even over piles of logs.

“As a hospitality venue, Winton hosts a range of entertaining and challenging activities in the gardens and grounds, from miniature hovercraft and laser tag, to clay pigeon shooting and highland games. We now plan on running other 4x4 events using the new course.”

How do you source venues for events? Why did you choose Winton Castle?

A spokesman from Jeep answered: "Winton has a lovely setting near Edinburgh with excellent potential for off-roading in the woods."

How did the event at Winton House go?

"Very well. We had 75 guests from the automotive media and they liked what we did there. The highlights were the road route, and driving the Jeep Renegades off-road on a variety of surfaces, particularly through the woods at Winton on our brand new Jeep-designed course."

In terms of ROI, how do you measure this?

"The number of good reviews we get. Journalists were impressed with the route and positive reviews are already starting to appear in the media. They enjoyed an excellent and newsworthy event and are reporting that the Jeep is a good car."
