A very popular and healthy breakfast during the winter season. If you love millet flours, you can add them to this muthia to make it more flavorful and healthy. Happy Winters :)
Ingredients-
Bathua/Chenopodium leaves - 250 gm
Besan -1/2 cup
Chawal aata-2 tbsp
Haldi-1 tsp
Red chili powder -1 tsp
Ginger-garlic-green chili paste -1tbsp
Garam masala powder-1tsp
Hing-1/2 tsp
Mustard Oil- 1tbsp
Lemon juice -1tsp
Salt- as per taste
Water -3tbsp
Jeera-1tsp
Chaat masala - 1tsp
Method-
1-Clean, wash, and finely chop bathua leaves.
2-Add besan, rice flour,haldi, red chili powder,garam masala powder, ginger-garlic-chili paste, and hing to it.Mix well
3- Add oil, lemon juice, salt, and 1tbsp oil. Mix well and make a dough. Add water only if required for binding.
4- Shape it into a cylindrical shape and steam for 10 minutes on medium flame.
5-Let it cool down, cut it into round pieces.
6- Heat oil in a kadai, add jeera. Fry the bathua muthia, sprinkle some red chili powder, and chat masala.
7- Serve it hot.
