Lebanese Chicken Shish Taouk is a classic Middle Eastern dish featuring tender, marinated chicken skewers that are bursting with flavor. The chicken is marinated in a mix of yogurt, garlic, lemon juice, and aromatic spices like paprika and cumin, giving it a tangy and savory profile with a hint of smokiness. The yogurt tenderizes the chicken, while garlic and spices infuse it with robust flavor. After marinating, the chicken pieces are skewered and grilled to a juicy, golden perfection, usually served with warm pita bread, garlic sauce (toum), and fresh vegetables.

= preparation time 40 minutes
= ingredients for shis tauk and safron rice
first marination of shistauk
200 gm chiken breast diced
1tsp chopped garlic
1tsp lemon juice
1tbsp olive oil
salt and paper to taste
1tsp barhat arabic spice
1/2tsp red chilli paste
1tsp youghurt
1 tsp labaneh
1Tbsp chopped parsley
Few safron threas
= preapation
Except chicken add all the ingredients whisk well and add diced chicken tosse well cover and keep in chiller about to 20minutes diced 30gm coloured bel paper
10Gm white onion, few lemon wedges.wash and soak bambo seekware put maninate chicken and veg on seekware.
= prepare saffron rice
basmati rice 400 gm 1tsp safdron threads
salt 1 tsp
Olive oil 15 gm
butter 10gm
water 600
bay leaf 1pc
green cardmom and cloves each 3, 3 pc
*1 pc cinamon stick
= rinse rice and soak about to 20 minutebefor cooking rice.Heat cooking pot add oil and whole spice let begen crackle spice then add rice stir slowley about to 1 minutes add butter and hot water or veg and chicken stock , add crushed saffron stir well on medium heat let dry rice reduce heat cover with foll and lid simmer about to 15min.
For grill shishtauk heat pan add oil and shishtauk grill on low to medium heat you can cook on chaar -cole ,add 1tsp butter butter flip over chicken grill few minutes then add on baking dish bake about to 10 minutes.on modrate heat .mean while saffron frice set on a small bowel and flip over on a serving plate on the center put 1 seekware grilled shishtauk and garnish with lemon wedges and serve.
