HIMALAYA calls everyone if you have truly loved her from within. Recently I had a call of her, so I went for a sudden Ride with my fellow Bikers cum colleagues through the serpentine roads to TIGER HILL, LEPCHAJAGAT, PASHUPATI, MIRIK from SILIGURI on 22nd December 2018.
The entire ride covered beautiful mountains, amazing roads, spellbound view and of course tasty yet healthy ethnic dishes like THUKPA, Momos etc. In addition you can never miss the historic Darjeeling Himalayan Railway which UNESCO declared World Heritage Site in 1999.
Above all, TIGER HILL, which is situated at the height of 8482 ft, is the highest peak of Darjeeling hills and often attracts tourist from all over the world for sunrise view. At the time we reached Tiger Hill it was 4 degree celcius. In the month of Jan or Feb often it comes down to SUB ZERO level. Unlike others we were not fortunate enough to take the video of the majestic Mt KANCHENJUNGA, third highest mountain of the world, because of the cloudy weather. Although we had a glimpse of it. Overall it was a memorable ride to cherish forever.
