S. Korean President Moon Jae-in visits a number of venues in Pyeongyang

After the joint declaration was made around noon,... the South Korean leader visited a number of places in Pyeongyang, including a restaurant serving the city's famous cold noodles.

During the April inter-Korean summit, President Moon Jae-in tried some Pyeongyang Naengmyeon, or cold noodles, brought from the North's famous Okryu Restaurant. On Wednesday, the South Korean leader went straight to the source for a luncheon with Kim Jong-un.

North Korea's first lady Ri Sol-ju said Pyeongyang cold noodles have gotten a lot more popular since the Panmunjom summit,... telling reporters that foreign visitors have been asking for the signature dish.

After the luncheon, President Moon went back to where he's been staying,... the Baekhwawon State Guesthouse. Greeted by North Korean high ranking officials,... the South Korean leader planted a golden-rain tree brought from the South in the front garden with Vice Chair of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Choe Ryong-hae.

"I hope this tree grows really well - that it blossoms along with relations between South and North Korea.

President Moon then visited Mansudae Art Studio. He wrote in the guestbook,... "in the hope that art can be the bridge that connects the two Koreas." He said that when it comes inter-Korean exchanges, there should be interactions not only between the governments, but in culture, art and sports.

Ahead of the summit, Seoul's top office had made it known that President Moon would like to go to a restaurant in Pyeongyang popular with the locals. Making his wish come true, the dinner banquet was held at Pyeongyang Daedonggang Seafood Restaurant.

Opened in July, the three-story building can seat a total of 1,500 people on its second and third floors.
The first floor is a giant water tank where customers can pick the fish they want to eat. As he looked around the restaurant with Kim Jong-un, President Moon was greeted by many ordinary North Korean families there having dinner.
