This event was first time I have ever come to this proper international drift event since 2012. Last time I attend this proper drift event was at Speed City KL where the Formula D Asia was held, this year I've decided to come to this event which was held at Elite Speedway PLUS Circuit.
Elite Speedway PLUS Circuit is a go-kart track that was used to host the sixth round of the King of Nations Drift Pro Series. This circuit was also used to host a national level motorcycle race and time attack.
I was planning to attend this event on Saturday to watch while recording the Qualifying runs but due to the schedule between time and family matters, I've decided to attend this event on Sunday to watch the battles instead the ticket was cheap to buy!
This event had some interesting cars and drivers, ranging from Malaysia's Prince of Drift Tengku Djan Ley's LS7 V8 powered 700sx (180sx) to Australia's Luke Fink's M5 (E60) V10 powered BMW M3 E46. Watch how this event unfolds.
