Daily Maverick has released a video showing suspended IDT CEO, Tebogo Malaka allegedly offering journalist Pieter-Louis Myburgh 60 thousand rand, to stop him from investigating irregular tenders. This is in relation to the over 800 million rand oxygen plant tender for hospitals. Public Works Minister, Dean Macpherson, will today respond to the claims outside a Cape Town police station but what exactly is the Independent Development Trust and the role it plays?
