Violence in Sudan Displaces Over 136,000 in Sennar State

Описание: Escalating conflict between Sudanese military forces has triggered a mass exodus in Sennar State. Over 136,000 people have fled their homes due to clashes between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in Sinja and surrounding areas.

These latest clashes come on top of nearly 286,000 people already displaced in Sennar from previous conflicts.
The fighting has caused widespread civilian suffering. Looting of homes, shops, and markets has left people struggling to access necessities. Healthcare is also severely impacted with reports of the Sinja Teaching Hospital being occupied and medical services disrupted.
