Camel Meat Karahi
Serves 5-6
Recipe in English:
Ingredients:
-Cooking oil ½ Cup
-Oonth ka gosht (Camel meat ) 1 KG
-Hari mirch (Green chillies) 4-5
-Laung (Cloves) 4-5
-Darchini (Cinnamon stick) 1
-Adrak (Ginger) julienne 1 inch piece
-Lehsan (Garlic) cloves 8-10 slices
-Zeera (Cumin Powder) 1 tsp
-Haldee powder (Turmeric powder) 1 tsp -Dhania (Coriander Powder) 1 tbs
-Namak (Salt) 1 tbs or to taste
-Pani (Water) 2 Cups or as required
-Pyaz (Onion) sliced 3 large
-Tamatar (Tomatoes) cubes 3 medium
-Lal mirch powder (Red chili powder) 1 tsp or to taste
-Garam masala powder 1 tsp
-Kali mirch (Black pepper) crushed ½ tsp
-Dahi (Yogurt) whisked 1 Cup
-Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped
-Hari mirch (Green chili)
Directions:
-In pressure cooker,add cooking oil,camel boneless meat,green chillies,cloves,cinnamon stick and mix well until changes color.
-Add ginger,garlic,cumin seeds,turmeric powder,coriander seeds and salt,mix well and cook for 4-5 minutes.
-Add water,onion,tomato,mix well and bring it to boil,cover and cook on medium flame for 30-40 minutes or until meat is tender.
-Take out in wok,add red chili powder,garam masala powder,black pepper crushed and yogurt,mix well and cook on high flame until oil separates.
-Add green chilli and mix.
-Garnish with fresh coriander,green chilli & serve!
