The largest hotel in Norden (Nordic countries), situated in Oerestaden, part of Copenhagen, Denmark (2011).

The hotel consists of two towers rising to 76.5 meters, visible from far away, has a distinct shape with af dramatic slope. The towers are connected just above ground (first floor above the road) and by a footbridge at a height of 75 metres, the 23rd floor.

According to DAC one high tower was not an option for reasons of flight safety around the nearby Kastrup Airport.

The two Bella Sky towers lean 16 degrees to each side. The reason for this, according to the architects, 3XN, was to avoid the two towers stealing each other's view. Also, the slope minimizes wind drafts.

The slope, which is twice that of the Leaning Tower of Pisa, makes Bella Sky Denmark's most crooked building and was an engineering challenge: The towers lean 20 meters at the top compared to the bottom.
Furthermore, the top ten floors in tower 1 are broken approx. 12 degrees on one side, so that the tower almost twists at the top, while the other tower breaks correspondingly at the bottom.

Tower 1 contains 400 rooms as well as service and communal facilities. Tower 2 houses the remaining 414 rooms. Both towers are located in a base at a height of two storeys, which contains reception, bar, restaurants and a 850 m² spa and fitness centre

The hotel is close to the metro, the motorway (and Sweden) and Kastrup Airport, and is easy to get to and from. There are plenty of parking spaces, too, however at a rather high price. Luckily the standard rooms come at very reasonable prices.
