Exploring Honey Lake with a drone. Located in northeastern California near the Nevada border and the Plumas National Forest. Honey Lake is an endorheic sink in the Honey Lake Valley. Each year, summer evaporation causes most of the lake to evaporate and creates what is known as an alkali flat. The footage was shot in October 2018.
