As of the date of posting up this video, we have had the run for a couple weeks and so far love it. We do move it around the yard once or twice a day (with the chickens in it) but we have much peace of mind that they're safe from predators, those destructive claws of theirs will not tear up the ground quite so much, and they have many fresh bugs to look for!
We basically keep them in the run all day and have hung their water and food from the roof so they have everything they need. Half of the coop is covered with a cloth that does keep the rain out and we ran a piece of wood through the slats so they have a bar to roost on - which they absolutely love.
The video was made with love by my hubs who is learning to edit videos for his schoolwork. Please don't mind the silliness.
