On Thursday, 9 May 2019, Pope Francis’ Motu proprio, "Vos estis lux mundi", establishing new procedures for reporting abuse and violence, and ensuring that Bishops and Religious Superiors are held accountable for their actions, was presented at the Holy See Press Office.
Archbishop Charles Jude Scicluna, Adjunct Secretary at the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, who was deeply involved in preparing the document, used simple language to explain how he would illustrate the document to his flock.
