Replacing the Humidity Sensor is a relatively easy fix. It only takes about 5 minutes to separate the outer shell from the coils and interior components. First, start by unplugging your dehumidifier. Next, remove the 6 small screws that hold the outer shell together and gently pry it apart.

You should be looking at the interior components and attached to the coils, is the humidity sensor. It's a small item, and is easy to remove, by removing one small screw and detaching the wiring harness. All easy to do in less than a minute! Next, order a compatible replacement, and you can swap out the part, reattach the wiring harness and screw, with the new humidity sensor onto the coil bracket.

Clean the coils and other elements, and then reassemble the outer shell with the 6 screws. Plug the dehumidifier into the wall and this should take care of your EH code failure and return your dehumidifier to normal operating condition.
