These are the Liberty 3 Pros, a pair of truly wireless, noise canceling, excellent sounding earbuds from Soundcore. Coming in at a price of $169 they have a lot to offer! The Liberty 3 Pros deliver with sleek packaging. Included is the charging case, the Liberty 3 Pros themselves and a wide selection of ear and wing tips, to help you find the best fit. Lastly in the box we get a USB A to USB C cable. Let’s take a closer look at the Liberty 3 Pros. Design and features. Earbuds. Comes in 4 colours, I have Black here. Sleek and rounded design. Glossy black finish. Multitouch controls for volume, take calls and switch between ANC and transparency mode. Microphones, 6 total for noise reduction. Metal accents by the ear tip, looks good and is durable. Sensors for ear detection. Water resistant, great for wearing in the rain or working out. Feel light in the hand. Charging case. LEDs inside the case to illuminate the earbuds. Has a matte soft touch feel that looks quite sophisticated. Minimal branding. Nice and low profile, in terms of height, comfortable in pocket. USB C port and feature wireless charging. Battery life. 8hrs play time earbuds. 32hr total with charing case. In my testing, listing at around 50% volume the battery life holds up, getting around 7 hrs with ANC on. Pair seamlessly and instantly with bluetooth 5.2. Can be connected to 2 devices at a time, i.e. easy to switch between iPhone and MacBook throughout the day. Fit and comfort. Earbuds in terms of size are slightly above average but their design and extra support provided by the wing tips make them comfortable and very secure in the ear. Once they are in, they are in, never fell out, even during an intense workout. I can wear them for many hours at a time while working with ease. Before I talk about sound. I want to go over active noise cancelation. When on, ANC effectively blocks out consistent lower frequency noise. Train track noise, car or plane engine. ANC on the Liberty 3 Pros causes minimal humm, and performs better in this area compared to other ANC earbuds I’ve tried. How do they sound? Frequency response goes from 20 to 40KHz. Earbuds feature Soundcore’s Coaxial dual driver design. Reflected in the Sound profile, which is V shaped lows and high emphasised. Creates an exciting sound signature. Music. Great for all genres but especially shine with more bass heavy genres, hip/hop, house, pop. Low end is super tight, punchy and deep. Highs are clean and without being too sharp. At the same time the mids remain present, though out of the box these could be more pronounced. Sound stage is very wide. When listing to podcasts, I was amazed by how true to life voices sound. The microphones perform well even in challenging situations. Calls are clear on both ends. Customise the sound profile in the App to fine tune the sound to your taste. If you prefer a more flat sound profile, you can easily customise the EQ manually. Soundcore also offers a range of presets to choose. Then there’s HearID. This feature tests how you hear specific sound frequencies at different volumes and adjusts the EQ accordingly. The app goes further, letting you adjust the level and type of of ANC and transparency as well. The Liberty 3 Pros provide the sound and features of the best of the best, Airpods Pros, Sony XM4s but do so while coming in at a more affordable price point. If you are looking for excellent sound quality that is also customisable, ANC, long battery life, water resistant, multi-device support snd much more. For the price the Liberty 3 Pros are a fantastic choice!
