A very special, and rare flight in the Noorduyn Harvard T-6, G-AZSC. As it was during the Goodwood Revival 2015, I am in full period RAF battledress as worn by my grandfather during 1944.
The Harvard is operated by Goodwood Aeroclub, and based at Goodwood Aerodrome (formerly RAF Westhampnett) which is where my grandfather was based during WWII, flying the Hawker Typhoon MkIb.
There is a project, which I am involved in, to rebuild to airworthy status Hawker Typhoon MkIb RB396, and some parts from my Grandfather's aircraft are planned to be used during the rebuild.
