My Point of View: In business, credibility can be created before competence is tested. We can sell them on trusting us by engineering the first impressions we want, so let's be intentional and let's be sharp.
🎩 Classic Menswear Conventions – Know the Rule to Break the Rule
#42 Q. What’s the rule for shirt buttons in men’s style?
If you choose not to wear a tie, a dubious choice but nonetheless if you do that, then definitely keep your shirt buttoned up, rather than opening up the top buttons to expose your manly chest – that is way too much information for a business setting.
👔 The 4 Vs of Executive Presence: Visual, Vocal, Verbal, Value
🎯 Who am I meeting and what impression do I want to create:
Tokyo Rotary Meeting
Client first meeting
French Chamber, Nihombashi event with Davide Sesia, Sogo & Seibu Executive Director and Vice President speaking on "How The Japanese Society Shaped The Retail".
I wanted to look sharp amongst those elegantly dressed French businessmen at the Chamber event.
