Organic virgin coconut oil in a glass is the only moisturizer that my family and I have been using for the last year.
We use it for body and face after a shower or bath.
As it consists of a single ingredient only, there are no chemicals or preservatives that can become systemic by absorption through the skin.
Coconut oil is an excellent natural moisturizer and it is rare that people react allergically to it. Always of course apply to a small area of skin first to test it for 24 hours before using it on larger areas to make sure there are no adverse reactions.
I recommend to buy it in a glass bottle as this ensures that there are no phthalates and bisphenols in the oil that would usually leach in from plastic containers.
