The First Friday art walk, one of the most popular recurring events in San Antonio since 1994. First Friday is San Antonio’s longest-running monthly art event. Typically, every gallery in the Blue Star Arts Complex is open to the public between 6 pm and 9 pm on the first Friday of every month. The event extends beyond Blue Star, however, with openings and events happening all along the South Alamo corridor. Attending First Friday is the best way to get a taste of what’s happening in San Antonio’s diverse art scene.
