"—:Θ" (Insane Demon) by Marwec, Jenkins & xVoidGD | Geometry Dash 2.11

Описание: It's not too often I upload so-called layout levels on the channel, but I think it's fine when they're particularly good. "—:Θ" (pronounced "line oh" according to Marwec) is that good in my opinion. The synchronization to the song is great, and the gameplay is made in such a special way that it's enjoyable to watch on its own. Whether it's fun to play or not is another case, though.

I do have a hard time calling this just a layout level, so I'll settle for "layout" in quotation marks because that's what the community refer to these levels as. It's got a lot of visuals on top to make it more than just a basic layout, such as some cool glow effects, which are done by Jenkins. There are also some decorations here and there. This makes it feel more like a finished level with a very simple style to me than a layout. Of course, if they had this finished with more detailed designs and effects (like with "Neutra") it'd be even better, but I don't think keeping it like this is bad either. To me, it's got a lot of charm as it is. Keep in mind that this may not be released, though, so we'll see what they decide.

I mentioned that the gameplay may or may not be fun, which was more of a general statement regarding gameplay that looks really unique on video. Floppy recorded this (special thanks to him), and he found it very fun. That's a good sign. The gameplay is done by Marwec and xVoidGD, with the former having a great track record from what I've seen, so I'm not surprised. xVoidGD is more unknown to me, but it seems like they've contributed to a fair bit, and I can't really tell the difference between the two's parts in this; it's very consistent in quality. Difficulty-wise, it's probably around Insane Demon overall. Finally, let me know what you think about this level in the comments!
