Aam Aadmi Party senior leader and spokesperson Mudasir Hassan criticized the Jammu and Kashmir government, alleging that the Assembly is diverting from the main issues for which people cast their votes. He stated that citizens expected resolution of their grievances and demands, but legislators are engaged in unnecessary debates instead of addressing pressing concerns.
Speaking about the SASCI (Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment – Development of Iconic Tourist Centres to Global Scale) scheme, he said the initiative has both merits and demerits. He also claimed that some MLAs opposing the scheme in the Assembly had previously submitted their own proposals under it.
On the Mehraj Malik case, Mudasir Hassan expressed confidence in the judiciary and said the upcoming hearing on the 19th is expected to be favorable.
