🥔 Ingredients (Vrat-Friendly)
1 cup sabudana (soaked 6–7 hours or overnight)
2 medium boiled aloo (mashed)
2 tbsp roasted peanuts (coarsely crushed)
1–2 green chilies (finely chopped)
1 tsp grated ginger
Rock salt (sendha namak) – as per taste
½ tsp cumin powder
Fresh coriander (optional – if allowed in vrat)
Oil or ghee for frying
👩🍳 Recipe (Step-by-Step)
Soak sabudana till soft and drain excess water completely.
In a bowl, add soaked sabudana, mashed boiled aloo, crushed peanuts, green chilies, ginger, cumin powder, and sendha namak.
Mix everything well to form a soft dough.
Shape into small round or flat tikkis.
Heat oil or ghee in a pan on medium flame.
Shallow fry the tikkis till golden and crispy from both sides.
Serve hot with vrat chutney or plain curd.
