DESCRIPTION:
Huawei’s B2 combination Bluetooth earpiece and fitness smart band is their first entry into this technology with some potential for success. IT is well packaged for gift presentation, and the device has a clean look and feel. It has a strong contrast black and white screen which should be visible outdoors, but probably not in direct sunlight. It covers the basic functions of step count, sleep monitoring, and a special multi-sport mode for timed movement events. All this tethers to their own Huawei Wear app, which is designed to support both watches and bands, some much more capable then this one.

One sweet feature is the ability to twist your wrist to wake it up and see the time, then twist it again to change pages of the display. There’s not heart rate oxblood pressure, just the basic time and fitness functions, and it uses Bluetooth3 for connection rather than the new, lower power versions of Bluetooth 4. All this is because the band is showing its age against evolving technology. With the new Huawei B3 due out soon, you may be able to pick this B2 up at a good price for a name brand product that does what it does well.
