Peppa Pig was a happy pig. She loved jumping in muddy puddles, playing with her teddy, and visiting Granny Pig. But her favourite thing in the whole wide world was fish!

One sunny day, Peppa pig and George pig decided to go fishing. They packed their little fishing rods, a big bucket, and a picnic basket full of yummy sandwiches. Daddy Pig drove them to the sparkly pond.

"Look at all the fish, Peppa!" George pig squealed, pointing at the water. Peppa pig nodded excitedly and cast her line. But instead of catching a fish, she caught a big, green boot! "Oh dear!" she giggled. Daddy Pig laughed and helped her untangle the boot.

They tried again. This time, Peppa pig caught a shiny, silver... can! George pig laughed so hard, he fell over! Daddy Pig just smiled and said, "Don't worry, Peppa. Fishing is fun even without fish!"

Just as they were about to give up, pig Peppa's rod started to wiggle! She pulled with all her might, and guess what? She caught a big, floppy... hat! Everyone laughed so hard, they rolled on the grass.

But then, something amazing happened. Pig George's rod started to wiggle too! He pulled and pulled, and up came a tiny, wriggly fish! Everyone cheered! Peppa was so happy for her little brother.

Even though they didn't catch many fish, Peppa pig and George pig had the best day ever. They laughed, they played, and they made lots of happy memories. And that's what really matters, isn't it?
