In the town center, there is also a memorial garden from the Second World War, a quiet and beautiful space created to honor the history—and the lives—that were forever changed.

I Karasjok – Norges nest største kommune i areal – besøker jeg både Sámiid Vuorká-Dávvirat (Samemuseet) og Sametinget, hvor den ikoniske bygningen virkelig skiller seg ut med sin unike arkitektur inspirert av gammen.

I sentrum finner vi også en minnehage fra andre verdenskrig, et stille og vakkert sted som hedrer historien og menneskene som ble berørt.
