Mirror Engraving in Color!

Use Inkscape to prepare a mutli-color engraving through the back side (silvered) of a mirror. After engraving each color's area, I clean of the metal powder left behind by the laser. Then I paint the back side of the mirror. Where the mirror was engraved, the paint shows through the front of the mirror and is not reflective.
By carefully registering the mirror so that the next engraving lines up, I was able to engrave through the reflective surface again to create room so when I paint the next color on the back of the mirror it now only shows through the newly engraved part.
Created for use in the Voyager Middle School STEAM Lab class with middle school students.
