Tools and Supplies You’ll Need:
Fresh DOT 3 brake fluid (about 1–2 quarts to be safe)
Clear vinyl tubing (3/16" inside diameter)
Catch bottle or container
Wrench for bleeder screws (8mm and 10mm)
Jack and jack stands or a lift
Tire iron
Shop towels and gloves
Turkey baster to remove old fluid from reservoir

Step-by-Step Brake Fluid Flush:

Park on a level surface.
Open the hood and locate the brake master cylinder reservoir.
Empty Old Fluid from Reservoir to the min line
Use the turkey baster to suck out as much old brake fluid
Fill the reservoir with fresh DOT 3 brake fluid

Bleed Each Brake Caliper:
Start with the farthest wheel from the master cylinder:
Rear passenger → Rear driver → Front passenger → Front driver.

Attach the clear tubing to the bleeder valve on the caliper, with the other end submerged in a bottle partially filled with old brake fluid and make sure the hose is elevated above the bleeder valve (to prevent sucking in air)

Flush the Fluid:
Loosen the bleeder screw (about a quarter-turn) while the pedal is pressed.
Gently press and hold the brake pedal.
Old fluid and air will come out into the tubing.
Keep flushing until clean, clear fluid comes out (you’ll see a color change).
Monitor and keep topping off the master cylinder with fresh fluid during the whole process — never let it run dry!

Repeat for All Four Wheels.

Final Check:
After all four are done, make sure the brake fluid reservoir is properly filled.
Pump the brake pedal a few times to ensure it feels firm.
Check for leaks at each bleeder screw.

Put the wheels back on, torque the lug nuts to 110 foot pounds, and do a test drive.
