In the second part of my Iso-Syöte adventure, I’m trading my snowshoes for a fatbike!
Even though the winter trails in Finland are world-class, riding in -30°C comes with some serious challenges. From my gears freezing solid to my helmet camera shutting down from the frost, it wasn't exactly a smooth ride. But with the sun hanging low on the horizon and the trees covered in heavy snow, the 'Northern Magic' of Iso-Syöte made every frozen toe worth it.
Join me for a cold, beautiful, and slightly chaotic loop around one of Finland's most iconic fell landscapes.
