This video shows you tips on how to stamp with those large images like the Watercolor Wash Stamp Set! The best way to ink it is to tap the ink to the stamp. As for stamping it down, just go for it. Standing up sometimes helps best for lining it up or you can apply your paper to the stamp and press that way. Even pressure all around the image will help to get the perfect stamped image!
