Описание: The Expressive Landscape, taught by artist Luke Knight, is an inspiring three-day course encouraging participants to push the boundaries of paint to create energised, painterly and expressive depictions of landscapes.

Under the guidance of artist Luke Knight, some of the techniques employed will include creating quick paint sketches before adding layer upon layer of paint, which may then be sanded, scraped, and rubbed back to create a textured surface. Elements of tone, complimentary colour pairings and contrast of edges and lines will be explored among other painting techniques and processes. These elements and techniques combined can create balanced yet dynamic landscape compositions and enlivened painting surfaces.

This course encourages a playful and energetic conversation with a place, emotive response and creative expression.
