This Sondheim song cycle uses some arrangements from existing Sondheim revues, and some of the other arrangements you will hear were written by our very own Musical Director Leigh Thompson. The videos were directed and choreographed in detail, and we hope we've reframed some of these songs in an unexpected way to make the most of this new performance medium. The show you will be watching will be totally one of a kind and unique, and we are very proud of it.
We are incredibly proud of the fact that for this project we donated six bursary slots for professional Musical Theatre performers; much of this was made possible by the kind donations from private benefactors and from our Kander & Ebb and Disney Song Cycle audiences, to whom we are incredibly grateful. We hope to cover the remaining £600 with any donations we raise with this Showcase.
