YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has challenged CM Chandrababu Naidu to answer for turning Andhra Pradesh into a "state of anarchy and lawlessness." Jagan pointed out the irony of Naidu lecturing the nation on democratic values while allegedly presiding over a "jungle raj" in his own state. Referring to the high-handedness in recent local body elections and the suppression of opposition voices, Jagan stated that the current regime's actions are a direct assault on the Constitution. He demanded that Naidu stop hiding behind rhetoric and address the "atrocities" being committed by his party workers and the state machinery under his watch.
