Boston fans are mourning the loss of singer Tommy DeCarlo, who passed away at age 60.

After the tragic loss of original vocalist Brad Delp in 2007, DeCarlo posted Boston cover songs on MySpace as a tribute. Those recordings caught the attention of Boston founder Tom Scholz — and soon the Home Depot employee found himself on stage as the lead singer of one of rock’s most legendary bands.

For nearly two decades, Tommy DeCarlo carried Boston’s iconic sound to audiences around the world.

This short tribute honors his incredible journey, his music, and the dream that turned a devoted fan into the voice of Boston.
