The Gifts of Allah to Mankind
In this episode, we reflect on the final verses of Surah Al-Fatiha:
﴿ صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ ﴾
The path of those You have blessed.
Who are they?
According to the explanation of Ibn Kathir, they are the Prophets, the truthful, the righteous — the people Allah loved. Not the world’s celebrities. Not society’s role models. But the ones honored by Allah.
And then we ask for protection:
﴿ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ ﴾
Protection from knowing the truth but rejecting it.
And from following falsehood without realizing it.
This du‘a is your shield.
Your compass.
Your protection for life.
Surah Al-Fātiḥah is not just recited.
It is lived.
Tonight, say it like you mean it.
“Ya Allah, guide my heart and never let it go astray.”
