I go ahead and start with showing how to create a virtual machine in case the viewer is unfamiliar with the technology. As such, if you are familiar with this already, you can skip ahead to 13:00 to where the actual MicroPython specific content begins.

The process has three basic parts...

PART I
Create a virtual machine of Ubuntu 16.04.2, then on the new VM...

Install the esp-open-sdk for the ESP8266, then
