The UNASIS Portable Install/Remove Tool is used with a v-groove bearing, chamfered bearing or sleeve. It accurately installs the bearing by safely drifting the bearing into the housing prior to swaging. In addition, the tool assists with the removal of the bearing by extracting the bearing from the housing after cutting.
An inaccurate attempt at installing the bearing can potentially damage the housing beyond repair. A precision drifting tool ensures complete repeatability with the bearing installation process. The install/remove tool has a push, which is designed to allow the cut v-groove to fold into itself without impacting the housing. The receiver cup accepts the bearings out of the housing.
